Hollywood Senior reloading press???

l*berty said: Anyone here ever own or know anything about a press called a Hollywood Senior. It is a very heavy and well built, sturdy press. I don't know when they were made but seems very high quality. Any info, appreciated.

l*berty said: Thanks Gate, I don't think this one was made in 1996, just by the looks of it. If you didn't know what it was, you would think it is a hydraulic jack by the looks of it. Very stout compared to other presses. Don't really know why they are built so sturdy, maybe that's the way they did things back in the day. Did it have a picture of it in Handloader Digest?

The Senior turret and single stage Senior were still being assembled by an old guy in Northern California, but I have not talked to him in at least 2 years. I still have the 8 station Senior. I will never sell it. these were my 3 Universal 3's being refurbished. http://i155.photobucket.com/albums/s320/buckbrush1961/DSCF0004.jpg here is a picture of 3 Hollywood presses, The left one is a Senior Single stage, the middles is a Universal3, and the end one is the real "big dog" the Supper Turret" http://i155.photobucket.com/albums/s320/buckbrush1961/1686.jpg Here is a picture of a Senior 8 position turret. http://i155.photobucket.com/albums/s320/buckbrush1961/DSCN0544.jpg http://i155.photobucket.com/albums/s320/buckbrush1961/Press_Front.jpg
